SOLUTION to the problem, Without government intervention.

     If anyone feels their site contains information that children
     should
     not see, then they should put their .html files in a /ADU/
     directory.
     The browsers could then have a simple lock on all files contained

     inside a /ADU/ directory.

     I feel I should be able to show anything I want on my pages,
     without
     the worry that a child might see it. My original solution was to
     let
     the parents sort out what the child can view, but most parents
     don't
     spend that much time with their kids.

     And if it would make the government feel better, keep the laws
     preventing indecent material, but an /ADU/ directory should be
     kept
     law free.
